Bistro Blanc Offers Spirits and Fun in Glenelg Area

One of Glenelg's premiere wine bars, the Bistro Blanc features 0ver 400 wines, and tapas menu in farm-to-table style, with gluten-free and vegan options available.

Glenelg, Maryland – One of Glenelg's premiere restaurants and winebars, Bistro Blanc, announces their 2015 summer menu. Patrons of the restaurant can now enjoy the full menu on Bistro Blanc's spacious outdoor patio, or in the interior for a cozy weekend brunch. Among the choices available at Bistro Blanc are Crab Empenadas, Spring Pea Risotto, Duck Leg Confit and more delicacies. 

Bistro Blanc offers two menus, with all items made from local and seasonal ingredients sourced close to home. Private dining is available in the restaurant's Wine Cellar, for those craving a unique dining experience in a “behind the kitchen” review at the Chef's Table. An extensive reserve wine list is also available at the Chef's Table, for the true wine aficionado. 

Bistro Blanc takes pride in offering a different wine experience than most Maryland wine bars. The restaurant was the first to introduce the Enomatic, a wine dispensing system that lets users dispense wine directly from the bottle while preserving the body of the wine with oxidation. 

The full wine menu includes 24 wines available for tastes and sample, and over 400 wines are available in the full portfolio. The portfolio consists of exclusive imports, and a number of wines from local wineries. Patrons interested in taking home a bottle of a wine are offered a generous 25% off discount off retail price.

Several Maryland craft beers are also available, with options including Flying Dog and Peabody Heights. Bistro Blanc's cuisine is served tapas style, and made from scratch, with considerations made for those with dietary regulations, such as gluten-free and vegan individuals. 

“We believe in delicious food, hand-crafted for your enjoyment. We strive to serve our guests in a fun and relaxing environment, where they're invited to relieve their stresses of the day with a nice glass of wine or a cold local brew,” says Raj Kathuria, owner of Bistro Blanc. 

Throughout the year, Bistro Blanc helps members of the community hold fundraisers to battle cancer and other causes, and invites any resident to consider their venue as a proper fundraiser location this summer.
