Kingdom - 24 hours, don't put God at the very bottom of your list

. . . . S T A T U S
Mood : la-la-la

"God's Kingdom is near!"

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
   for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
   for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
   for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:3-10

-----

Brother 徐国强 preached about the Kingdom of God. I find the sermon really beneficial because he manages to highlight a few important points:

  • God wants Christians to go through the hardship before gaining the eternal victory.
  • God wants Christians to repent and reflect their life's priorities.
  • God wants Christians to know who is the real King of the Kings.
  • God wants Christians to love God and everlasting kingdom, but not the temptations from this world.
  • Kingdom is a LIVING seed which is implanted in all our hearts. We all have one inside our heart. It is just a matter of how you take good care of it - Do you allow it to grow or you make it stagnant with this world's evil temptations?
----

There are a few really interesting facts to share with you all-
  • The illegal King of the world is Satans because he controls all our temptations and lusts.
  • The real King of the Kings is God.
  • All religions want you to do charity, donate money and be a vegetarian but Christianity teaches you to be poor. You need to be poor in the sense of spiritual, then only you are classified as a winner in God's eyes.
----

Many of us are very busy with many things in life.

We always find time not sufficient to do all the things we NEED to do in life.
True?

So, what exactly we are busy about???

Work???

House chores????

Gaming?????

Dating???

School works????

Most people are busy with all these. To think again, we have 24 hours a day. Do you think you really spend the time allocated wisely? Or, you are poor in giving priority to the important work? That is why you always find yourself not having enough time to do the more important work! The simple reason behind it is because you spend too much time on unnecessary stuff like gaming---- I don't mean to say gaming is bad but you need to be wise in dividing your time.

Everybody tends to give so much time to this world's temptations- games, career (work), education (school work) and dates (couple). Well, again, I am not saying all these are bad and you should totally cut them out from your 24 hours. If you are a smart time organiser, you should know which activity needs more time and which does not. Everybody is so busy and we all forget one very important immortal God.

Good image uh huh?
Man-made = = "
Imaginary scene of Jesus on His throne in Heaven.
I wonder if that is going to be how it looks like on the Judgement Day.

Now, let us close our eyes and pray to God for repentance. How many of us actually neglected Him throughout our busy daily life? We are so busy, really busy, VERY BUSY and forget about Him. Oh, some people will say, they still remember God but they only put Him at the very last hour of the day. I admit I am one of those kinds. I'm sorry God. I should give you more time..

Repentance is important for God is a loving yet fair God. He is not bias and He will do what He said. Do not put God to test for He is the righteous God.

God has His reason to choose you. To let him choose you, you have to let yourself to be chosen at the first place. Are you willing to be God's helper to spread His gospel to the world? If yes, amen.

I believe that people who say that they have NO TIME for church activities are people who are giving excuses. They are more enthusiastic with the non-lasting temptations of the world. Everything will come to an end one day. You and I will witness all these one day. It's just that day, that will come, real soon, but unsure when.

I hardly say I have no time unless I am undergoing some stress. I won't deny that I have given excuses like this before----

However, I need to urge everybody that: It is important for you to THINK of ways to allocate time for God. It's your responsibility. God loves us so much and yet we always put Him at the very LAST of our list. Do you think what we are doing is right?? Think about it!

If you are the kind who keeps giving excuses saying you're busy or you're tired and unable to attend church function, I think you should make a prayer and apologize to God for your selfishness. I feel that, nothing is impossible unless you don't want it to happen. 24 hours, plan your time well, you definitely have more than enough time to do your necessary work and for God. Think about it-- What causes you to have time discrepancy? Entertainment or God?
